Are these the same writers as last year? I don't think they have any idea where to go with this story. And the pacing is horrible.
And what's with the cheerleader story? Cutting off the toe was ridiculous. Sticking her hand in boiling water was ridiculous. She doesn't feel pain anymore??? Letting us know that her school lab partner can fly was a mistake. Now we're waiting for her to find out and she isn't... so it's dragging.
There is nothing interesting about the brother and sister in Mexico except that we can now call them The Wonder Twins.
The Irish storyline is awful. I can see why they wanted Peter to have amnesia... because they made him too powerful in season 1. Now he has to rediscover his powers. Okay. i don't like it, but I understand it. So what do they do? They have him unleash energy blasts.
They'll have to really blow it for me to stop watching, but I will. It took 2 really bad seasons of Alias for me to stop that show. I guess I'll give Heroes a little slack.
Oh, and I almost forgot. Kensei can heal himself?! Can't they think of a better power for the guy? It's already been done. Maybe they have a great take on it. I kind of like how the Kensei/Hiro relationship is kind of like a Cyrano scenario (ooh... great name for an album), but that's dragging too. Ugh.
correct, yes, uh huh....
basically how I felt...
but I felt the same way last season... in fact I didn't watch the show until January - February. That's when it started to get good. Then I went back and caught all the old episodes... It takes them a while to build up to something.
According to spoilers without spoiling anything supposedly the irish storyline will eventually make "more" sense. Again this will need to be built up to.
Patience grasshopper... Patience...
Better than the first episode but this is one slow moving show. I think I will save three or four episodes in the DVR and watch them at once so at least there is some movement to the story line.
i agree, the irish thing is lame... but hey at least pete blasted some dudes. hiro's adventures in ancient japan are even worse than peter's ireland gig. clair's friend from school is annoying (bring back the gay guy from her last school!)
mrs patreli getting her ass kicked was cool. mohinder's acting has improved from last season. agent weiss from alias is great and steals every scene...but when are they going to introduce some new heroes (with new powers)?
i'm fast-forwarding all the scenes with the wonder twins and/or mr muggles. i watch the rest. when i get to the point where i fast forward more than i watch, i give up on the show. i call this the "jericho method"...
