Great episode. But what was with that exchange between Baltar and the mechanical Cylon. That was a bit weird.

At that moment, I was like, uh oh, what if the end game is evil baltar vs everyone commanding the mechanical cylons.

That whole "you didn't know you are one?" was kind of a tease.

I can't imagine that Lee's presidency was that short lived. If they rejoin the fleet next week which is my guess unless they are intercepted, that just means Lee is no longer president and Tigh is no longer Admiral. What the hell was the point of the episode before then?!

Still no Dee. If I was the actress, I would be pissed! (unless they promised me some plum role!)

How long do you think xena will live? I can't imagine she's going to survive through the length of the series.

Chairman, I thought the exchange between Baltar and the Centurion was vintage Baltar. Something comical yet serious during a time of uncertainty.

Silas, yeah it will be interesting to see if Lee holds on to the presidency now that Roslin will return. But then again if she returns as President, then Lee's swearing in becomes null and void. Afterall he was sworn in because they all believed that Roslin was dead. Being that she is not dead yet (we all know she will die at some point - hence the visions she was having whenever the baseship jumped) then I think any recent changes made to the office of the President will cease to exist. I'm thinking she returns, takes over as president and releases Athena from the brig, since she is the only other person who knows about the vision of protecting Hera from the Sixes and Baltar.

Col. Tigh as the commander of the fleet? Remember, when Adama gave him command of the fleet he told Tigh that it was not a long term position. Tigh was to be in command until Adama returned.

As for Dee... she had a small 30 second airing in the "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" episode. When the rebel baseship jumped in before the Demetrius, she could be seen in the CIC. She was also the one who asked Helo to verify the Demetrius authentification code before the attack was called off.

Well we know D'Anna will be around for at least the next episode because she still has to reveal the final four to the fleet. My question is, will she identify the 5th? Afterall she did see all 5 of them.

It was great to see Roslin having a hard time coming to grips that God forgave Baltar of the guilt of giving the cylons the defense access codes that nearly wiped out all of humanity. And how Baltar equated what he had done to past events in the scriptures about the great flood that also nearly wiped out all of humanity and how the human race must always rebuild anew after a major event. I don't think she even believes in the one true God, yet, but many things are being revealed to her now that she might start to soften her stand when it comes to the unknown. Maybe she will start to listen to what Baltar has to say about God.

I liked this episode and I'm sure next week will be good too, though waiting more than 6 months for the 2nd half of the season to start will be a tough pill to swallow.

Great point. Should we assume that Husker/Roslin will be sidetracked from either the fleet or their duties, or were the writers just messing with us?

Chariman: I agree that the Baltar dialogue was a bit weird. By itself it would have seemed a bit campy, but as set-up for blowing Baltar up is was great. Still, I have to wonder if they're setting up Baltar to be either Count Iblis or the "One, true god" for the centurions. I'm seeing three factions: Colonial Fleet + Renegade SkinJobs, Other SkinJobs led by Cavil/boomer, and Baltar leading the centurions and his religious desciples.

THAT'S AN INTERESTING VIEWPOINT. I doubt the latter would be the case since Baltar was talking about knowing God to the centurion (as well as to Roslin). He has never said that he is God. He has always talked about knowing God. Now what you say about Count Iblis sounds more probable. Seeing how Count Iblis was a fallen angel and all angels whether fallen or not know God, then I can see this possibly happening. Afterall, the vision that Roslin and Athena have had about Hera, always ends with Six and Baltar holding Hera as the doors close. This leads you to belive that Six and/or Baltar taking Hera, is a bad thing. That would be interesting if that comes true.

QUESTION: Did anyone else notice that the 2's (Leoben) were absent from this episode? Because when they were showing the cylon and colonial pilots standing next to each other, they only showed the 8's and 6's. Is there only one 2, Leoben, on the entire baseship?

I thought the Leoben that came to find Starbuck said he was the only survivor. Or maybe he said he may be the last one for all he knows. But I think he mentioned that his model was off somewhere and their ship was destroyed.

Really? I'm not sure how I feel about a universe with only one Leoben in it

Isnt' Keith Callum Rennie the actor for Leoban. He was in the credit but not in the episode.

I too was like, that's weird he wasn't in the episode.
