Hot dang, Daphne is cute as hell!
I like the "Peter has the hunger" angle...maybe he and Sylar can go on a spree and kill a bunch of dudes. But the teaming Sylar up with HRG was a bit contrived.
And, sure, future Sylar being all domesticated was fun, as was the nuking of Texas. And it was nice to see an actual battle for a change, however fleeting. But does it count? Will the writers ever take a chance like that in the present and resist the urge to undo it via time travel or mass-healing? I tend to doubt it.
Also, the actor who plays Peter is...not good. The scenes where he has to interact with his past/future self are a bit cringe-worthy.
Truth be told, I could be at the end of my rope with Heroes. I already like Fringe better. If Life On Mars lives up to the hype, it may nullify the space in my DVR previously saved for Heroes.
Is anyone else having issues with the show, or is it just me? I kinda gave up on it last year, but I was willing to chalk that up to the writers strike and give Heroes a clean slate. So far, I don't think my optimism has been rewarded...
I have issues... thus the spotty updating of this blog. The thing is a mess. I am still enjoying it, however. I couldn't get into Fringe, but I really liked the first episode of Life on Mars. That will be taking the place of the recently jettisoned "Chuck" in my DVR.
