Great episode. Not sure I like where Sayid's character is going.

I read an interesting theory about the Flash "sideways" we've been seeing. Maybe we're seeing Flash Forwards of what happens after the last episode. Something happens that causes the island to "never have been" and this is the new timeline. I like it.

Interesting note... if you remember back when Jack was operating on Ben, Pickett argues with Mr. Friendly because "Jack isn't on Jacob's list". But now we find out Jack IS on the list. Wonder what that's all about? If it's a mistake, it's a pretty big one.

I've been thinking the opposite...that blowing up the nuke at the end of last season caused the island to sink, and the LAX timeline is the result...but something at the end of this season in the LAX timeline will change history and cause the other island-centric timeline to exist. Either way, the show seems likely to end with the last-standing timeline sending a couple way back in time to start the whole process, possibly give birth to Jacob, and end up as the skeletal remains Jack finds in season 1. Maybe Aaron goes back and becomes Jacob, or is that too obvious?

My head hurts.
