I didn't see the Sylar twist coming at all! That was a good moment.

Do you think Molly is the girl that Parkman saved from Sylar in episode 2? I think it is...

I like the computer hacker so much more then Candice the shape shifter. I want more of her!

What do you think mother petrelli's powers are?

If Peter gets Claire's power, why does he have a scar? Is the implication that Hiro gives Peter the scar?

If the Haitian works for the White House, wouldn't he turn off Sylar's ability to pretend to be Nathan? What about Parkman, shouldn't he have read in Sylar's mind that he was pretending to be Nathan?

What is up with the past episode with Sylar using the voice of command on Isaac which was Eden's power. She blew her brains out so he couldn't take her power. You would think the assumption is he can take things apart and see how it works, but you can't do that with a bullet through the brain, right?

Also the past episode the preview showed a scene with DL confronting Jessica/Nikki on who she was and she said she didn't know anymore which is kind of bullshit because they never showed that scene before and only introduced it in the preview.

Also how did the nuclear guy survive blowing up the house?

All in all, the show is SO good, I'm willing to overlook tons of inconsistencies.

I'm willing to overlook inconsistencies too, but these 2 you mentoned bothered me as well...

If the Haitian works for the White House, wouldn't he turn off Sylar's ability to pretend to be Nathan?

I didn't even think about that until you mentioned it. Can Sylar be so powerful that he can block the Haitian? They could easily explain this by having a character show up that can block the Haitian, and Sylar kills him.

What about Parkman, shouldn't he have read in Sylar's mind that he was pretending to be Nathan?

I thought the same thing. Does this mean Parkman knew it was Sylar all along? Was Sylar so careful as to always have the Haitian close by when Parkman was around?

Candace the shape-shifter is sooooo evil. Last week when she looked like Claire and told Bennett that "she could show him things that would make him tear out his eyes" was so chilling. She must die. She's pretty damn hot though.

Also how did the nuclear guy survive blowing up the house?

Peter survived blowing up NY, so I assume the Nuclear power has a built-in immunity. Convenient, but that's okay. It's a comic book.

If Peter gets Claire's power, why does he have a scar? Is the implication that Hiro gives Peter the scar?

That's what I was thinking. I love that they didn't explain it. It also implies that the sword IS special.

By the way, I didn't see the Sylar twist coming either. Brilliant.

I get that the show is supposed to be a live action comic book, but sometimes the dialogue is bit clunky. For example, in the scene where Sylar is revealed to Peter, Sylar says something like, "It's me, the person blamed for blowing up New York, blah blah, I killed Nathan, blah blah you really blew it up." Most of this dialogue was unnecessary. It's like they need to over-explain certain things so the non-geeks can keep up. All we needed was a quick morph to Sylar, a smirk, and morph back to Nathan. This is something that happens a lot. The writers would be better served using more dialogue to explain the above mentioned inconsistencies instead of stating the obvious. Maybe I'm nitpicking here...

Also, when they dipped into the Dark Future Bag O Cliches, I'm glad they went "scar" over "goatee" or "eye patch" for Peter. (Zing!) I keed, I keed...

Hey, has anyone been reading the online comics at the Heroes website (nbc.com?). I haven't had the chance, but Kristi says they do a lot of great backstory work...

I haven't read the online comics. I keep thinking about the Battlestar Galactica webisodes which were pretty disappointing. Maybe I should give them a shot.

i liked the bsg webisodes. you can only do so much with 1-3 minute segments, and i thought they were well done...

I realize I'm way late here, but I just started catching up on my DVR viewing and finished this episode tonight.

I would like to echo the man echoing Comic Book Man with the Best Episode Ever.

The Sylar plotline was a shock and kept me riveted. I will say, in response to Silas, that if Sylar is powerful enough to have fooled the world for five years into thinking he's someone he's not - consider Peter's surprise when Sylar pulls him through the door - then I think he's stronger than the Haitian, too.
