Awesome episode! I take back the comment about no surprises. I, like everyone, never figured that D.L. had survived the battle with Sylar. Great surprise. His death was pretty powerful. Veronica Mars ruled in this one. Even the wonder twins were good.
Okay, now for the hate. If this episode had aired 4 weeks ago, we'd be talking about how great season 2 is. And the only reason it didn't is because they had to drag stuff out so this episode could air during sweeps week. This is why TV sucks. I can't wait until the next sweeps period so we can see another quality episode or two. Oh wait... writer's strike. Never mind.
I can't for the writer strike. I have old episodes of everything and video games to be played dammit!
Everything is still pointed to an Ali Larter write off. If it means more Monica, I'll be fine with it.
Seems to be pitting Hero v Hero coming up with HRG and Suresh. Hopefully what Chris said about Peter killing Sulu rings true and we have a Peter v Hiro battle coming up.
What did mama petrelli do to the Rena Sofer? All we know is she takes her kids away from Nathan after his miraculous recovery.
Ok big loop hole, so Nathan was kept in the hospital in Ireland? Or was pete accidentally shipped to Ireland? Nobody bothered to check the empty container before shipping it?
i thought the episode last week was the best so far. this week's was lame. DL's death didn't do much for me, other than lamenting the loss of one of the better actors on the show.
veronica mars is ok. they gave her a reason for being one dimensional, how nice. why not just flash to a picture of 5 dudes passed out in the writers' room next to an empty bottle of scotch and a stack of rising stars & chris clairmont's xmen comics.
enough with the wonder twins already. just have sylar bang the sister so they can kill the brother, and then an episode later sylar can kill the sister with her own power, and then we can be done with it.
(though it would be a cool twist if they "cured" sylar with that virus injection, and he could never get his powers back)
i agree monica is cool. so can we get her in an episode for more than a mintue, or what?
based on things i've read in the past few weeks. i think that the pacing issues of the show has more to do with crap writing than setting it up for sweeps. if anything, the strike has saved the season, b/c now they have to resolve everything in a matter of weeks. so hopefully, now that the obligatory "4 months earlier" episode has passed, things will get good.
season finale? i want peter vs peter... on screen (not behind a closed door)!
I was thinking the same thing about the container. The Irish guy said there were supposed to be iPods in there. What the hell happened to them? Maybe Hiro's tampering with time caused the iPod to never have been created! I could have sworn Claire and her big doof boyfriend were listening to an iPod and sharing headphones, but it could have been a Zune.
I noticed the "look" but I thouht it was directed at Monica... or were there two looks?
