Is Peter an idiot? How many people have to tell him that Adam is bad before he'll listen? Liked the episode though. I could have done without the Sylar melodrama.
I may be trying to find geekiness where there is none, but when Adam shot Victoria Pratt (played by Joanna Cassidy), her dead body pose was nearly identical to her dead body pose in Blade Runner (she was the replicant who ran through all the glass)... right down to the open eyes. Okay, I'm done.
I noticed that too. Had to be an homage. Peter rots. It sucks that they have to make characters so stupid to advance the plot lines. Thank Crom half of the wonder twins are dead. Now for the annoying half. Wah, my eyes turn black, wah, I kill people. Who needs it?!
Beware the Wonder Twins. My guess is Zan will rise again. Jana's power kills... and I seriously doubt his power is just to take away her power. I suspect he really is the opposite of her power.
Don't hurt my Monica! I'll be so pissed if they don't bring her back next season.
I hate how we never get to see the older generations power. So many die with no power reveals. Makes me so mad!
Scary how "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" is now more appropriate for she's the cure for the virus, not that she stops the exploding man.
I agree! No Kill Monica! I can almost see it going that way... teaching Micah a lesson about using his powers. They better not.
i disliked this episode so much, i didn't want to post and be "negative posty guy"... the ending was cool, though. but c'mon, the whole season so far has been based on clumsy use of hiro's power and peter's character being an ass.
anyway...it's no coincidence that peter's mom survived the attempt on her life while in jail AND survived the virus in the future that peter visits. she had ties to linderman when he tried to nuke nyc, and she had ties to adam when he tried to release the virus. my guess? she faked the attempt on her own life to throw them off her scent, she murdered her husband, and peter/nathan will have to kill her at the end of this season...but she's like peter and has all the powers.
i had such high hopes for this show after seeing the 90 minute pilot at comic con last year, but i think we (kristi too) might bail when they conclude the first half of season 2. i'm going to watch the last episode tonight and see how i feel...
