So is The Chief just cracking up, his Cylon personality emerging, or is he being controlled? Please don't make The Chief a dick.

I know we've seen Six make Baltar do some weird stuff in the past, but this time it looked as if "Six" was actually holding Baltar up during that confrontation with the guard. "Six" is definitely not simply in Baltar's head. "Six" is a physical presence that can only be seen by Baltar (or presumably anyone else the "she" chooses).

I think it just adds credence to my theory that the projections are "angels"/Ship of Light folks, guiding humanity to their destiny.

I don't like that they are making Roslyn into a dick.

chairman: chief has been my favorite since season 1 (not sure why). but maybe, after screwing up racetrack's raptor, he doesn't trust himself on the hanger deck. so he gets himself permanently relocated. that way if he loses himself to his cylon programming, he's not in a position to sabotage the fleet. also, i think he wants to get away from tigh and torrie.

it seems like tigh and torrie are going down a self-centered (almost hedonistic) path, but maybe chief and anders will find redemption.

and, yeah, six is clearly not in baltar's head.

silas: i've read so many "angel/ship of light" theories, including my own, that i'm not sure where you're at. do you think starbuck (since her resurrection) is a light projection, the same as baltar's six (and six's baltar)? only she's slightly different in that everyone can see her (instead of just one perosn) AND she seems to have the consciousness of the living starbuck (whereas the other projections have personalities distinct from their living counterparts). maybe baltar's six projection is from count iblis, and starbuck's ressurection projection is from the angels, so there are actually competing factions trying to manipulate the human race...

Everyone:
Imaginary Six has said to Baltar at least three times since season 1 that she is an Angel of God sent to guide him. So I agree with Silas about the projections being angels.

As for Baltar, his actions continue to make him seem more Jesus-like. First it was his trial which mirrored the trial of Jesus by the Romans. Then it was some of the Savior-like references that Six equated to him. Then the pleading with God to save the child from death and then having the child healed. Now the destruction of the temple which also mirrors Jesus destroying the temple full of sinners worshiping idols of false Gods. I'm not saying Baltar is Jesus but whomever he is supposed to be is very much like Jesus.

Now Starbuck. I have mixed feelings because of a spoiler (which I will not reveal here) that Silas told me about. That could explain a lot about her feelings and actions. So I'll have to wait before I make more comments about Starbuck. This Friday's episode may shed more light on Starbuck and possibly that of the Final Secret Cylon, who I still believe is Lt. Gaeta.

Now I have two BIG question. In the first episode this season, Six told Roslin that the Final Five were close, that she could feel their presence. So why can't she feel their presence when Tigh is standing in the cell with her? If she knew or sensed that Tigh was one of the Final Five, would she have jumped on him and punched the snot out of him?

gaita5: i got the impression that six was punching tigh to HELP him turn off his pain (or something). he seemed to be into it.

and i thought the same thing about baltar's rant in the church being similar to jesus in the temple. ya know, "gaius" isn't that far off from "jesus"...maybe they get to earth in like 3 bc and gaius becomes OUR jesus? his "miracles" can be attributed to the use of technology. it's already been done ("behold the man") but would be a pleasantly blasphemous ending to the series...

I really don't know what is going on but I get the sense that the "angels" are not competing against each other but are working independantly to shape the human and cylon evolution.

If baltar is jesus, then I get the sense with Razor, that starbuck is the devil. I'm trying to think of one major contribution she has made for the positive and I can't think of any outside of saving them from cylons. She was instrumental in Zach's death and she's always spiraling out of control.
