BY YOUR COMMAND!

Man, I'm gonna miss this show! I didn't really understand any of the hybrid stuff, but I guess that was just a set up for next season. How can the Hybrid know so much about Kendra? How can he know that Starbuck is the harbinger of the apocalypse? How can his skin be so wrinkled when he's sitting in moisturizer all day?

I was sad to see Kendra go... although it was inevitable. She couldn't live after killing that innocent woman on the freighter. That's not allowed on TV. Plus, they had to explain why she wasn't around in the present day. She was a great character.

Cain shooting her XO was awesome, and gruesome, and a few other "somes".

Of course, my favorite part was the old school toasters. I rewound that part 5 or 6 times. Maybe they'll bring back Lucifer in Season 4. I'm lame.

DVD comes out next week! And Season 1 in HD. I'll be keeping busy during this writer's strike.

I love Razor, but yet again it just emphasizes how bad of an actor Jamie Bamber is, every outshines him by 2 Folds.

Michelle Forbes was amazing and they really tied up all of the Pegasus' backstory.

Do you think we could be headed for Blake's 7 type finale. If everyone goes, I'll be stunned and so happy.

Plotholes:
You would think Admiral Adama would n't have kept the secret that he suspected that the old cylons were experimenting on humans. Wouldn't he have put it together the first second he met his first human looking cylon. D'uh!

Yes, "By your command" was awesome! I love the commitment to the original configuration and design. Same lower toned voice the the Cylon in "command" in the back and higher pitches for the front seaters. GREAT STUFF!!

That Hybrid guy creeped me out! Yes, I'm pondering how he knew so much.

Kendra was hard core. Perfect example of a Cain protégé! She could have risen to command the Pegasus maybe? Scary but makes sense.

Hey, you know, an updated Lucifer would not be out of the question. He was a fairly large part of the original story. Maybe bring the model back as a background "walk on" part or something. But, yeah, maybe it is lame...

I wanna pick up the DVD soon!

Hey Amechi!

Too bad the guy who did Lucifer's voice (the great Jonathan "Dr. Smith" Harris) is dead. Maybe they can get the guy who does the voice of Stewie on Family Guy. He sounds close enough.

I'm not sure if the thing with Adama is a plothole. If I found body parts lying around a Cylon base, I don't think I would jump to the conclusion that they were making human versions. However, I see your point that he should have at least mentioned what he had seen when he encountered the first human Cylon.

So it will be interesting to see how the Final 5 figure into this seeing how they are spiritual entities that have been around for 4000 years, since the 13th tribe went towards earth. And being that the old hybrid said that Kara Thrace will lead the human race to the apocalypse, she may be like the Anti-Christ, evil and leading the people to their death, similar to what it says in the Bible. That would support my comment to you (Chris) yesterday about how the lights mysteriously went out in the Galactica hallway when Starbuck walked by but when she left the area the lights came back on. Almost like she was an evil dark force. That would also explain why her and Lee always seemed to be at odds with each other, especially if he is the 5th Final Cylon.

I think all of the hybrids, the original old guy and all the current women models, act more as a collective conciousness. Like Leoban said in season two, that the hybrids talk to the Gods. It was also said that to see the face of God or Gods would bring madness and death, except to the chosen one. That is why D'anna died after seeing the Final Five's faces.

So I think the Final Five are spiritual entities that were created by our God just like the Holy Spirit. These 5 Gods wanted to evolve into a race of beings so they may have adopted the mechanical cylon race amd were the ones who inspired the knowledge to create another human-like race and the hybrids were the first attempts. If that is so, then the hybrids should know quite a bit being their creations. That could sort of explain the meaning - "This has happened before and will happen again". Meaning a new race of beings separate from actual humans has been created and it continues to evolve by cross-breeding and thus creating yet another race of beings.

Then again I could be way off the mark on this one.

chairman: "Starbuck is the harbinger of the apocalypse"...could that mean that when the last humans and cylon get to earth, they breed together, thus mixing the the gene pool forever and wiping out any pure-blooded humans? and then we (2007 humans on earth) are descendents of hybrids? i'm grasping...

silas: whaaaat??? jamie bamber is a bad actor? you ever hear his real accent? he sounds like a posh michael caine! as for the blake's 7 finale, i'm pretty sure roselin is a goner. probably adama too. i'm thinking there will be so few humans left, they have to breed with cylons just to have a lasting civilization on earth (see above).

teckie trekie: they're totally going to have lucifer. they've already alluded to it in season 3. when they get to the "temple of the 5" (where chief is looking for the eye of jupiter), roselin is reading a passage to adama in one scene: "the temple is named after the five priests who worshipped the one who can not be named." so of the 12 lords of kobol, one of them is probably the "fallen" one. this person will end up being the cylon god, or lucifer/iblis, or both. my guess? romo lampkin.

thx-1138: i'd be shocked if kara was a cylon, but i bet they think she is and toss her in the clink with caprica six. baltar is the chosen one, and he is the only one who could have seen the face of the final 5 in the temple without dying.

random: after reading up on the original series mythology and rewatching season 3...the six that baltar sees, the balter that caprica six sees, the leoben that kara sees...are those "the beings of light"? if so, did they bring kara back to life and take her to earth?

i have a feeling the final 5 cylons were created prior to the other 7, and they don't get reborn into new bodies when they die. as a result, they are way more individualistic than the other cylon models, so they went off on their own. maybe cylon tigh was the first skinjob, but split in his early 20s and stole 3 cylon babies (anders, tyrol, and whats-her-face). if this is the case, i'm thinking the last of the final five should be a women about tigh's age. roselin? no. ellen? maybe. admiral caine? perfect! ok, now i'm REALLY grasping...
