Heroes: The Hard Part (air date 05/07/2007)

Hiro and Ando's determination is put to the test. Nathan wants to win the election and he's taking drastic measures to ensure that he will. This episode will feature Sylar, his home life, and where he came from. Jessica and D.L. discover some of the stuff that Linderman wants from them and Micah. Also there is a new hero who is supposed to be holding the key to stopping Sylar.

Does anybody know what Linderman wants Mikah for? I never gave it much thought until this episode. I bet they're going to get Mikah to rig the election booths. That's how Petrelli wins. Or am I stating the obvious?

Good episode. I like how they're dealing with Sylar... actually giving him a reason for doing what he's doing. Five seconds with that Mom and I was ready to kill!

This is so cliche'd, but does anyone think Linderman may be Congressman Petrelli's father?

Do you think Bennett (Claire's Dad)knows that the Walker System that can track anyone anywhere is that little girl? How does he plan on stopping her?

nice call on mikah rigging the election.

sylar rules.

pretty sure linderman isn't nathan's dad (based on what kristi told me about the online comics).

i think, when push comes to shove, bennet and ted would kill the girl. not sure about parkman, though... would be a great scene either way.

i don't know what happened...for most of the season, i was digging heroes way more than lost. then, the last month or so, lost pulled WAY out ahead of heroes.

the slow pacing of the mid-season lost episodes does tend to drag, but i think it leads to more developed characters and ultimately a better payoff. heroes almost seems to be pulling it's characters from one big event to another, without much time to breathe...

I still think Heroes is a much tighter show then Lost. Lots of great surprises and they are really weaving all the strands together. Lost just gets more and more frayed (though I'm liking the final episodes)

Linderman can't be the dad. The dad died recently and I think people know what the dad looks like because I'm lead to believe he was a politician as well, so people would recognize him since its public knowledge that papa petrelli is dead, but then again Heroes is fraught with inconsistencies.

My problem with Heroes are all the inconsistencies. A couple episodes back they introduce that Nikki/Jessica are psuedo mixed now, but here again we see them seperated. Pick one!

I love the artist, Tim Sale, but the picture of Micah, worst future picture ever.

I never thought of Micah rigging the election. That's cool.

I knew Molly would be a Heroes detector, but from HRG it sounded like the detector has been working all along, but here we get the knowledge that the virus stops her power from working. Makes no sense to me.

Eric Roberts states that only Molly can kill Sylar. Is that because they are going to infect sylar with the virus, thereby shutting down his power without killing him? Maybe the same with Peter? He's way too suped up for my taste.

Candice is so much more powerful then we thought. Too bad, I don't like the actress playing her.

My predictions is Molly is going to be set free, but not before she informs Suresh that she knows where his sister is and that she's alive.

Also this eclipse that is in the show's opener needs to come into play at some point.
