Linderman's death was awesome! Hiro's Dad rules! Great little cliffhangar. Maybe they'll resist the temptation to leave us hanging next week. They really have to give us some kind of closure to the season, no?

this was the best episode since the one where ted blew up the bennet's house. everybody loved the dark future episode from a few weeks back, but i thought the writing was weak.

sulu is like a good luck charm for the writing staff. i hope we get to see a scene with him flying around, breathing fire, and chopping heads off with a sword.

the look on parkman's face when nikki said "didn't i throw you out a window" was priceless

I still see wild inconsistencies with Heroes, which I continually will forgive, though I still have a hard time with Sylar using Eden's power like several episodes ago.

First, why can't the computer lady who talks on IM with her mind also just rig the election, why is it Micah. I think it would be cool if she came back into play somehow talking to Micah while he rigged the election.

Fine DL was shot, but really, with his power and the situation, he should have been ready for it and been able to phase Nikki and himself through it. He was given like such a heads up that Linderman intended to kill them.

Ugh, on the Hiro training. I don't care how special he is, but I'm supposed to swallow that he gets full swordplay training in a couple of hours (and boy Sulu changes quickly, he was out of his dojo outfit and watching his son chase Ando in a crisp suit) Does anyone think sacrificing Hiro's heart means sacrificing Ando for the greater good?

I would have much rather see parkman communicate with Jessica in Nikki's mind. We know he can hear her. That would have been cool.

The things I loved was the candice stuff. makes you really want to side with her. good stuff. Clea Duvall is back and I think she now knows she was set up. Time for some payback! HRG was great too with the Eric Roberts shooting.

Predictions:
I bet Candice dies next through sylar's hand, prolly protecting micah or molly. Virus totally comes into play for shutting down sylar. My guess is cheerleader does the injecting. My hopes is a mano a mano between each hero with sylar but ultimately a team effort to take him down. No clue on the explosion though and I still want this eclipse in the title to mean something. I'm pretty sure we'll see a cliffhanger, but one that leads us into next season's threat.

Also maybe this will come into play on the season finale, but hello, Isaac sent out the final issue so that sylar wouldn't get it, but its "supposed" to show how to kill sylar thereby making Isaac a "Hero". Yet, Hiro gets the comic in the future and the courier never had to deliver it to them, lame.

Hopefully Nathan gets the copy on the finale and it has new panels that hiro's version does not have. He finds out that the injection sequence is somehow actually the virus and they need to inject sylar. Also instead of Hiro stabbing Sylar, its going to be Ando, just before Ando sacrifices himself.

Can't wait, whatever happens.

ando's death is so long overdue that if he doesn't buy the farm next week, i'm going to track down the actor who plays ando and take him out myself.

i can get past the sword training montage... let's assume the training was more about unlocking hiro's "expert swordsman" gene than actually learning the skill...

but the insubstantial guy taking a bullet, while ironic, is totally lame. he could have phased himself and nikki way quicker than jumping in front of her.

hey, we found out pappa patrelli was very powerful, right? do you think he really killed himself? or did momma patrelli kill him after she got in bed (literally and figuratively) with linderman. i wonder what her powers are… mind control? can she mimic powers like peter?

just saying: linderman is dead. sylar has been the obvious villain from day 1. so is the final, shocking twist going to be that momma patrelli is the big bad of season 1, and SHE’S the one that’s going to blow up nyc? that would be cool…

also: if linderman has healing powers, can it be expected that he can resurrect himself as well?

I think papa was killed, but I don't think momma was the big bad. I find it hard to believe that we are constantly re-inforced with this notion that these three momma, linderman, and papa hiro are the good guys who tried to save the world and didn't get greedy since they are all extremely well off. my take is they did good in the past and saved the world, but the world didn't take notice so they took it upon themselves to reap their own rewards. One of them starts to object and they silence that person off, but regrets it and concocts this Watchmen like plan to scare the world into peace to redeem their conscience.

That or Linderman isn't who we think he is. Maybe someone took over his body and is using his influence to their own agenda.

I bet Simone's Dad still has to come into play. Everyone was using his rooftop as a base, invisible man, papa hiro and the hero gathering funkey bunch. Too much is connected with that rooftop to not make Simone's Dad someone of interest in a backstory. Maybe the NY destruction was his dying wish? If he was, he seems like the only one who has lived humbly.

Wow, lots of good stuff you guys are talking about. I enjoy this show so much that it takes me over, and I don't think of half the things you guys do.

I, too, loved the Candace stuff... in fact, i love how they inject a human side into each villain, and show a reason why they do what they do.

Parkman was great throughout the episode.

Like Silas, i will overlook the "training Hiro in an hour" bit... unlocked his genes.. sure, why not.

I think Linderman is gonzo. I'm assuming he can only heal others. But you never know.

Maybe computer lady can only talk to computers... not affect them.

If Ando dies, are we going to get Dark Hiro? Don't know if I'll like that. I love innocent exuberant Hiro (although others have said he gets on their nerves).

Simone's Dad... definitely something should be done with that. I wonder if that's a lost thread that they were going to explore, but decided to go in a different direction.

Kevin brought up a good point about Computer IM lady (he calls her Emailia). She doesn't work for Linderman. According to the online comics, she's actually on the run from him, so she'd never help him by rigging the election.
